TO FOLLOW MEANS TO BE SENT

·When you are trying to figure out what is true, nothing beats a first-hand witness. Someone who saw or heard what happened and can tell you about it. As we prepare for Easter Sunday, we are going to study the accounts of people who witnessed the resurrection of Jesus. What did they experience? And what can that experience teach us? We can’t wait to share it with you during this brief but powerful series.

DON’T HAVE THE “BEST YEAR EVER.” BUILD A MEANINGFUL LIFE.

New years mean new goals, new dreams, and new frustrations. If you’ve ever had your picture-perfect year fall apart by February (we’ve all been there) you know the “I thought this year would be different” feeling. But what if the goal isn’t to have the best (easiest, most fun, adventurous, etc.) year ever. What if we decided to build a meaningful life instead? The wisest man who ever lived tried anything and everything to find happiness and contentment. And while he came up empty in those pursuits, he discovered the keys to a meaningful life. AND he wrote his insights down for us!

WHAT IF WE TOOK JESUS SERIOUSLY…

…about following Him? When you read the words of Jesus in the Bible, He doesn’t spend a lot of time telling people to consider, agree with, or even believe in HIm. What Jesus DOES consistently invite people to do is follow HIm. It’s a call to action, not just a title. In simple terms, it’s not just joking the gym, it’s showing up and growing stronger.

It is an invitation to a life-long apprenticeship with Christ. Find out what it means to follow Jesus, along with some practical ways to do just that this spring. We can’t wait to see you for this series!
